I’m Jenndi, the sculptor and tailor behind the dolls and dresses you’ll see on this site. My background in theater and costume design helped me create the Tatterpunk style you see in the dresses on this site.

I’ve wanted to make Ball Jointed Dolls since I first knew they were a thing – probably around 2010? I made a few attempts in the past (most of which we don’t speak of) using traditional methods, but never got anywhere near what I wanted.

Never, that is, until I discovered that I had magical digital sculpting powers.

About a year and a half ago – February of 2021 to be exact – I began the journey towards what would become Draugar Dolls. A friend told me about the program Sculptris, a free sculpting program that is basically the very core of what makes ZBrush work. Since that first head I sculpted for practice, I’ve been going strong!

Draugar Dolls officially opened (on Etsy) with its first 3D resin printed preorder of a 1/6 scale girl doll on the 15th of July 2021. Since then, I’ve sold quite a few tiny dolls and 1/3 sized doll heads – even one or two ¼ and 1/3 full dolls!

2022 saw my first attempts at having heads cast. After two unfortunate mishaps regarding that, I adjusted the inner workings of the heads I’d sent out, and decided to go with a different and more reliable caster to cast the 1/3 Hunter Girls (more about them next post). My samples came in February 2023, and I’m preparing for my first cast doll preorder – to start on May 1st 2023!

It’s been a journey, and I’m happy to take you along for the ride.
