The Hunter Girls are arriving very soon! I’ve compiled a ton of information on the Preorders page, so go check it out for the technical specs. Now, to tell you their story.
The journey to having these girls cast has been a long one. I began work on this body in late 2021. I created the first draft using my old jointing methods. I liked how she looked, though at the time I didn’t quite know how to fix the issues I’d had with sharp edges on the joints and thigh joints that gobbled up leggings.
I printed her of course, then set her aside as “finished” to work on other bodies – specifically the Reveur Femme body.
After failed attempts at having heads and the Reveur Femme 1.0 cast with certain US casters, I decided to rework the jointing on that body. Doing so, I learned how to fix the issues I’d had with the original Hunter Body as well.
The parts I had sculpted in Sculptris were the same – a muscular torso, leg, and arm.
I reworked her entirely aesthetically and joint-wise, to create the Hunter Body you see today.
I had already created new hands for the Reveur Femme body, as well as glove hands, but I decided to change those to magnetic attachment at the suggestion of my current caster (an established and reliable overseas caster this time) for the Hunter Girls.
I also reworked the logo on the inside of the heads, just unauthorized copies are made by the previous casters.
In November of 2022 I finally was ready to send out my master to the new caster for finishing and samples. He did an amazing job. I recieved the samples in February, and you can see the beautiful work in all of the photos of the girls I’ve taken.
So, yes. The Hunter Girls are coming soon, and I can’t wait to see what people decide to create with them!
